MAD CITY FOOTBALL PREP

Legal Notice, Service Disclaimer & Liability Waiver

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Welcome to Mad City Football Prep. By submitting football equipment to Mad City Football Prep for inspection, prepping, reconditioning, bladder replacement, lace replacement, repair, or other services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined below.

1. Description of Services

Mad City Football Prep provides football equipment services, including but not limited to:

Football prepping and conditioning

Football cleaning and restoration

Football reconditioning

Football bladder replacement

Football lace replacement

Equipment inspection and minor repair

Other football-related restoration and maintenance services

Our services are intended to improve the condition, appearance, functionality, and/or playability of footballs and related equipment. Mad City Football Prep does not guarantee that any repaired, reconditioned, or serviced football will perform identically to a new or manufacturer-certified football.

2. Customer-Owned Equipment

All equipment submitted to Mad City Football Prep remains the property of the customer.

The customer represents that they are the lawful owner of the equipment or have obtained authorization from the owner to request services.

Customers are responsible for removing any personal property, labels, accessories, or other items that they do not want serviced, altered, or potentially damaged.

3. Pre-Existing Damage and Condition

Football equipment may contain pre-existing damage, deterioration, wear, defects, or structural weaknesses that may not be visible during an initial inspection.

Mad City Football Prep is not responsible for failures resulting from:

Pre-existing damage or defects

Age-related deterioration

Excessive wear

Previous repairs or modifications

Manufacturer defects

Improper storage or handling

Moisture or water damage

Damage caused before the equipment was received by Mad City Football Prep

Damage that becomes apparent during or after the requested service

If Mad City Football Prep determines that an item is unsafe, excessively damaged, or unsuitable for the requested service, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue the service.

4. Football Bladder Replacement

Bladder replacement involves removing and replacing internal components of a football.

Because football construction varies by manufacturer, model, age, and condition, Mad City Football Prep does not guarantee that a football receiving a bladder replacement will retain the exact feel, shape, inflation characteristics, weight, grip, or performance of the original football.

A replacement bladder may alter the characteristics of the football.

The customer acknowledges and accepts these potential differences.

5. Lace Replacement

Lace replacement is performed to restore or improve the functionality of the football's lacing system.

Due to differences in football construction, leather or synthetic materials, age, wear, and existing damage, Mad City Football Prep cannot guarantee that replacement laces will produce the exact same feel, appearance, tension, or performance as the original laces.

6. Reconditioning and Restoration

Reconditioning and restoration may involve cleaning, conditioning, treating, reshaping, inflating, deflating, adjusting, or otherwise working on the football.

These processes may reveal previously hidden damage or cause existing weaknesses to become apparent.

Mad City Football Prep is not responsible for failure of materials that are weakened due to age, use, improper storage, manufacturer defects, or pre-existing conditions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mad City Football Prep, its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from services performed on customer-owned equipment.

To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to a service provided by Mad City Football Prep shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this agreement is intended to waive liability that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

8. No Guarantee of Game or League Approval

Mad City Football Prep does not represent or guarantee that a serviced football will be approved for use by the NFL, NCAA, WIAA, youth leagues, high schools, colleges, tournaments, or any other governing organization.

It is the customer's responsibility to determine whether a football meets the rules, specifications, or equipment requirements of the organization or competition in which it will be used.

9. Customer Inspection

Customers are encouraged to inspect all equipment promptly after receiving it from Mad City Football Prep.

The customer should verify:

Overall condition

Inflation

Lacing

Shape

Appearance

Functionality

Suitability for intended use

Any concerns should be reported to Mad City Football Prep as soon as reasonably possible.

10. Shipping and Handling

Customers are responsible for properly packaging equipment when shipping it to Mad City Football Prep.

Mad City Football Prep is not responsible for damage occurring during shipment to or from our facility when the damage is caused by the shipping carrier, inadequate packaging, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

11. Abandoned Equipment

Equipment that remains unpaid for or is not claimed after reasonable attempts to contact the customer may be considered abandoned, subject to applicable law.

Mad City Football Prep reserves the right to pursue any lawful remedies available for unpaid services, storage, shipping, or other charges.

12. Authorization to Perform Services

By placing an order, submitting equipment, approving an estimate, or otherwise requesting services from Mad City Football Prep, the customer authorizes Mad City Football Prep to perform the selected services.

Additional work that becomes reasonably necessary due to the condition of the equipment may require customer approval before proceeding.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting equipment to Mad City Football Prep, placing an order, approving services, or completing checkout, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Legal Notice, Service Disclaimer, Liability Waiver, and applicable Terms and Conditions.

If the customer does not agree to these terms, they should not submit equipment or purchase services from Mad City Football Prep.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that football prepping, reconditioning, bladder replacement, lace replacement, and related services involve working with customer-owned equipment that may contain pre-existing damage, defects, deterioration, or material weaknesses.

Mad City Football Prep does not guarantee that serviced equipment will perform identically to its original or factory-new condition.

You acknowledge and accept the risks associated with servicing used football equipment, including the possibility that previously existing damage or weaknesses may become apparent during or after service.

By clicking "Place Order," "Submit Order," or otherwise completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to Mad City Football Prep's Legal Notice, Service Terms, and Liability Waiver.
